It was breathlessly reporting on Arlen Specter becoming a Dumbocrat. The mop was interviewing Rep. Toomey and opining on how the Pennsylvanian electorate has shifted firmly to democratic control. I thought Toomey had a good and measured Arlen Specter [David Freddoso] is switching parties. From his statement: Since my election in 1980, as part of the Reagan Big Tent, the Republican Party has moved far to the right. Last year, more than 200000 Republicans in Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Penn.) is becoming a Democrat.
