Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla), will resign his Senate seat, CNN reports. According to three CNN sources, the junior senator, who had already announced hi. I'm sure Latinos were very proud of Mel Martinez when he was first voted in as a US Senator, a fellow Latino, rising to such a powerful position. Today I'm sure many fellow Latinos are embarrassed by the same man, who never did Retiring Florida Republican Sen. Mel Martinez has decided not to fill out his term and will resign from the Senate.
