Josie initially approached Women and Work in order to improve her confidence and self esteem, as she had been out of work for some time and she was fairly new. Josie S Story is flying around the internet. The girl basically died from dehydration and cardiac arrest due to missed communication among the hospital staff in some fashion.King has been crusading to work with hospital staff to create Josie's Story: A Mother's Inspiring Crusade to Make Medical Care Safe.
