Xerox Corp. has agreed to buy Affiliated Computer Services Inc. for about $5.75 billion in cash and stock in a deal that will boost the size of its document management business and take it another step away from its roots as a printer Xerox has announced that they are to purchase ACS Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), in a deal worth $6.4 Billion. Xerox hopes that this deal will allow them to expand beyond its current business plan, which is document management.
