USF Tampa—Reports of a gunman on campus in lot 2 near Bioscience building, which is adjacent to Administration building. Tampa Police Department and USF Police Department investigating. Stay inside and lock doors. Avoid area. TAMPA, FL– Police at the University of South Florida say they will not pursue charges against an alleged gunman who triggered a campus-wide lockdown last. In an off-campus call transferred to USF police from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a person reported that a man with a gun was in front of the university's library, USF police Lt. Meg Ross said.
