As The World Turns First Guiding Light and now this: CBS confirmed this morning that they are canceling another long-running soap opera. Don't worry Young & The Restless fans (for now), the show that is going away is As The World Turns. The World has stopped turning — at least on daytime TV. Long-running soap opera As the World Turns is coming to an end after more than half a century on the. We Love Soaps Roger Newcomb is reporting that As The World Turns, Procter and Gamble's lone soap opera in production has been cancelled! According to Newcomb, the soap will cease production in June and last air in Sept. 2010. Damn.
